Energy Corridor Recycles Day 2016, 9 a.m.–2 p.m. Saturday, November 19, at the Addicks Park and Ride, 14230 Katy Fwy.

Certified electronics recycling during the event will be handled by CompuCycle. Electronics accepted for recycling include:

  • personal computers, laptops, servers, server racks, switches, hubs and routers;
  • keyboards, mice, speakers, cords and cables;
  • computer monitors (CRT, LCD, LED, Plasma), projectors and TVs (no larger than 27 inches);
  • hard drives, floppy drives, tape drivers and memory chips;
  • printers, copiers, plotters and fax machines;
  • UPS batteries, power supplies;
  • CDs, VHS tapes, DVD/CD/VCR players and stereo equipment;
  • game consoles, controllers and PDAs;
  • cell phones and telephones;
  • cameras;
  • rechargeable batteries;
  • even hair styling utensils, alarm clocks and electric fans.
Also, household textiles and toys, plus documents destined for secure shredding.
